Yellow Pui
Yellow Pui Tree (Tabebuia chrysantha), also known as Golden Trumpet Tree or Yellow Bell Tree, is a species of evergreen or semi-deciduous tree in the Bignoniaceae family, native to tropical regions of Central and South America. It typically grows 15-30 meters tall, with grayish-brown bark and oppositely arranged palmate compound leaves. The tree sheds leaves in winter and bursts into vibrant bloom in spring, covering its bare branches with clusters of golden-yellow, funnel-shaped flowers. Its leafless, golden canopy during flowering earns it the poetic name Golden Rain. Thriving in warm, humid climates with full sun, it is highly drought-tolerant and widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical regions as a striking ornamental tree for parks, gardens, and streetscapes.
