The official definition of ancient trees includes trees that are one hundred years old, have a diameter of more than 1 meter, and a height of more than 25 meters. There are also requirements for tree crown coverage. The old trees that should be seen in Hong Kong include Podocarpus Macrophyllus, Autumn Maple, Camphor Tree, Ficus Microcarpa, Ficus Macrophylla, Kapok, Acacia Taiwan, White-flowered Derris and Giant bean, etc. When viewing old trees, cherish the nature and refrain from climbing, especially the old trees hidden in the mountains.
