Huiyang Baiyunzhang, Dongguan Yinpingshan

Baiyunzhang is 1,003 meters above sea level, close to Shenzhen Longgang District, and is the highest mountain in Huiyang County, Huizhou City, and is known as the 'Huiyang First Peak'; Yinpingju is 898 meters above sea level, located to the west of Baiyunzhang, but belongs to Dongguan City, and is also known as the 'Dongguan First Peak'. The two mountain ranges are connected, and hikers can walk through both peaks together, crossing Huiyang First Peak and Dongguan First Peak. The route is about 9 kilometers long, takes about 7 hours, and has a difficulty level of 4.5 stars. This route can be divided into three sections. (Section 1) is the mountaineering route to Yinpingju, which is about 3 kilometers long. The first section is mainly jungle, and it will connect to the official path to the top of the mountain. (Section 2) is the route across the col between the two peaks, which is about 3 kilometers long. Half of it is steps, 20% is jungle road, and the rest is floating sand and gravel road. (Section 3) is the way down the mountain from Baiyunzhang. The whole section is a descent, about 3 kilometers long, half of which is a floating sand and gravel road, and half is a jungle road. The entire route is 9 kilometers, and 80% of the route is barren trail, which is an unofficial hiking trail with no road signs. Hikers must have a sense of direction and know how to read maps. Newbies should not challenge it alone and must travel with experienced hikers.
