From Yuen Long, you can take minibus 71 to Tai Heng Street

On the left, is the dam of Ho Pui Reservoir. There is a path to the bottom of the dam on the left side of the entrance.

Cross the dam to the opposite bank, which is the starting point of the Family Trail.

After a lap, turning back to Ho Pui Village is the nearest way to descend from the mountain.
